Hi Bruce

Bob Brethorst - Wednesday, December 30th, 2009 2:38 AM CST
Dear Bruce,
I think it was 1967 and
a friend of mine gave you
my name -- you were looking for a drummer to fill
in as the drummer with you
had to return to the National
Guard or go to Viet Nam. We
were at The Place in Madison
Wisc, and PaPa Joes in
Milwaukee. Man I swear we
did tunes that weren"t on
record or paper I had a
great time playing drumms with ya. What ever happened
to the rest of the guys with
us?? Hope all is well with
you and all the best to you
in 2010.

Bruce,

I recently rediscovered your hit, Hey! Baby, which I am sure you get tired of talking about sometimes (if you don't, that's great), but I just wanted to say that this brings me a lot of joy and memories of my mother who passed away 6 years ago. Some of my earliest memories are from when I was three or four years old (I am 23 now) and I would dance with her to that song (the original 45!) in our kitchen. Thanks for making a great, timeless song, which has provided me with great memories of my childhood (and I am sure many others share the same sentiment).

Hey Bruce, Dave Sherman, from the Delbert cruise, I'm a pal of Bob Sullivan and was there when you 2 re-met on say Hey to you and Christine15. A Boston sportwriter I know started off his day quoting "Hey Baby" so I thought I'd say "Hey" to you and Christine. See you in 79 days. Dave

I am looking forward to seeing/meeting and hearing you on Nov. 21 in Springfield for the Rock, Roll & Read concert. I'll be covering that for The Tennessee Magazine.

Bruce, I do remmeber playing bass for you during your UK tour in 1962, I particularly remember the tower ballroon New Brighton.
I recall travelling up in our old wagon (we called it the 'bulance as it was an old ambulance) playing acoustic music with you and Delbert as we travelled.

Hello Bruce;

I was at a barbecue in Demotte IN yesterday and spoke to your brother John and also had the pleasure of hearing his stories. We also got to play your song Hey Baby, what a blast. I play in a band here in northwest IN and believe I'll add this to our repotoire. It's a fun song.

Hi Bruce, I'd just like to say thank you for such a great wealth of excellent music. I've been fortunate enough to find some of my favourite's of your records on original 45's ,(The fantastic"What you going to do" on Shalimar being the most recent). The one I haven't found yet is "Come on Baby" on Lecam. This is my favourite of all your records. If you know anybody who has one they would part with I'd be over the moon.
Many thanks again Bruce for giving us the gift of your wonderful music.
Best wishes,
Wayne Pantera
